FEI Tecnai G2 20 S-TWIN
Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope

The easy-to-use Tecnai G2 series is designed to ensure high-quality images and facilitate the work of the microscope user. Tecnai G2 has a high level of automation without limiting full user control. Our Tecnai G2 20 S-TWIN is ready for new applications like EDS with mapping, STEM. The system has a very high diffraction acceptance angle, which makes it suitable for weak beam, tilting, and other analytical experiments. The maximum magnification is up to 910,000x with resolution ~2Å.

Philips CM100
Transmission Electron Microscope

The Philips CM100 TEM has a magnification range of 18 to 500,000x. It produces high contrast images and is useful for examination of ultrathin sections and biochemical materials. This microscope equipped with TENGRA 2.3K X 2.3K camera for digital imaging.

FEG Scanning Electron Microscope

The Hitachi S-4800 field emission scanning electron microscope equips with a cold cathode field emission column emitter; Ultra-high resolution and high image quality at low operating voltage ~1.4 nm at 1 KV (1 nm at 15 KV); Wide operating voltage range 100V to 30 KV; Observe uncoated samples by beam deceleration option; In-lens SE and BSE detection at low voltages; EDS system for elemental analysis and mapping.

Hitachi S-3400N
variable pressure Scanning Electron Microscope

Hitachi S-3400N is a variable pressure scanning electron microscope. It has a tungsten filament emitter with resolution ~5 nm at 30 KV (10 nm at 3 KV); It allows to study of wet, oily, non-conductive and/or uncoated samples by variabel pressure mode; The low vaccum range is from 6 Pa to 270 Pa. Compositional and topographic images can be obtained by the high sensitive 4 segments BSE detector. It also equipped with EDX detector for elemental information mapping respectively.

FreeZone Plus 2.5
Freeze Dry System

The FreeZone Plus 2.5 Liter Cascade Benchtop Freeze Dry Systems is a compact benchtop design which can reach -84℃ for processing samples with low eutectic points including ones containing acetonitrile. It can be a convenient, nondestructive way of dehydrating biological samples, hydrogels, and nanoparticles which are sensitive to high temperatures.

Pelco EasiGlow 91000
Glow Discharge Cleaning System

The PELCO EasiGlow Glow Discharge Cleaning System is a compact, quick and easy to use standalone system. It is primarily designed for cleaning TEM grids and hydrophilization of TEM carbon support films, which have the tendency to be hydrophobic. A glow discharge treatment with air will make a carbon film surface negatively charged (hydrophilic) which allows aqueous solutions of particles to spread uniformly easily. The unit greatly facilitates projects requiring negative staining or cryo-TEM.

Sputter Coater/ Carbon Coater

The Q150T Plus ES is suitable for use with Tungsten/LaB6 SEM and Benchtop SEM. It provides automatic sputter coating and automatic carbon cord coating for SEM applications. It equips film thickness monitor for a precise coated film.

Quorum Q150T Plus ES
Sputter Coater/ Carbon Coater

The Q150T Plus ES is optimised for use with a turbomolecular pump, which gives s a lower vacuum down to 5x10-5 mbar. This enables the sputtering of oxidising metals, which have a lower grain size suitable for high-resolution imaging. Similarly, lower scattering allows for high purity, amorphous carbon films of high density. It provides automatic high resolution sputter coating for FEG SEM sample and automatic carbon coating (rod/cord) for SEM applications. Film thickness monitor equips for a precise coated film.
